Nationaldaycalendar.com has a section listing weeks that are celebrated. I decided to take a look at it today and found that I just missed Be Kind to Humankind Week.

The website said that it was created by Lorraine Jara who read a sad story about two men who had been in a boating accident. They held on to the side of their boat and people passing by didn't want to help. One of the men died. Lorraine Jara wanted to do something to encourage kindness and honor the man who had died.
Every day of the week has a theme.

I think my mom would have a hard time with Motorist Consideration Monday. :) She's a good driver but she gets pretty frustrated with people tailgating us.
This sounds like a nice list of things to do. Don't think it would be a problem to do it a week late.
