My mom said that there was going to be a parade of planes flying today so we went outside to try and watch. She said it was part of some events they are having to commemorate the end of World War 2.

The planes were pretty far away so we couldn't see them very well. But I think it was still pretty cool. My little brother got a little excited trying to find them in the sky. Here are some pictures my mom took.

Hawaii News Now had some video of it.
There are supposed to be more planes flying tomorrow. We'll try and look up into the sky again tomorrow.
September 2, 2020 will be 75 years since Japan signed their surrender to the United States on the Battleship Missouri. There's going to be a ceremony at Pearl Harbor. Not a lot of people can go because of the pandemic. They're going to livestream the event but I'm going to be in class at the time so that's a bummer. I hope it's recorded.
