Starting last week, there has been free COVID-19 testing all around Oahu. We got a flyer from our school about it. My family took the test today.

My dad had to go to Pali Momi to take a test by himself because somebody in his office has COVID-19. He said his test had the cotton swab go really deep into his nose. He said it hurt.
My mom, brother and I went to a park. My mom had to register us online. When we got there, there were a lot of police officers and National Guard people helping. They gave each of us a little bag that had some stuff in it.
We then had to go to another area near some nurses who told us to stand about 6 feet away from them and they told us what to do.
I went first. The nurse told me to take the swab out of the packaging and make sure I only touch the stick side. I was worried it would hurt like my dad's test. Luckily, I just had to rub circles around the inside of my right nostril for 15 seconds then do that for my left. I then had to put the swab in a vial and crack the long part of the stick so the swab could fit in the vial. I closed the vial, put it in the ziplock bag and put it in the bucket.
I then helped my little brother. Then my mom did hers.
It was really fast. We went right before they had to close so there wasn't a lot of people there. They said we should get our test results in 3 to 5 business days.
