October 2-10, 2020 is Fire Prevention Week. Usually around this time, we see each fire station with their own artwork out in front of their station. But this year, they all have the same banner. I'm guessing because of the pandemic, they don't really have time to do that this year.
Went to the Honolulu Fire Department's Facebook page to see what they are doing this year. Here's a picture of the banner that they're all using this year along with some good tips to prevent fires.

Their Facebook page also had a cool throwback photo from 1950-1960.

Did you know the Honolulu Fire Department has a mascot named Poki? Here's a video of Poki giving advice on how to cook safely.
