Getting angry when you're frustrated can get you in trouble

My mom keeps telling me I have to learn to deal with frustration better. I just get really mad when I get something wrong. My mom showed me a story about a tennis player who got in trouble today because he got angry when he was frustrated.

The tennis player's name is Novak Djokovic. He was playing in a tournament called the US Open. He was ranked the top player in the men's tournament. He was losing the first set. He got angry and hit a ball behind him in frustration. Unfortunately, the ball hit a linesman in the neck. It must have been pretty hard because in the video you can hear the lady yell and she falls to the ground.

Even though he didn't do it on purpose the officials said that he was defaulted, or ejected from tournament. The United States Tennis Association said they followed the Grand Slam Rule book and ejected him for "intentionally hitting a ball dangerously or recklessly within the court or hitting a ball with negligent disregard of the consequences."

Djokovic apologized. In part of his apology he said, "As for the disqualification, I need to go back within and work on my disappointment and turn this all into a lesson for my growth and evolution as a player and human being."
