Sigh... No trick or treating this year. AND Halloween this year is on a SATURDAY!!! My mom tried to keep Halloween a bit fun for us. For lunch, she got us a pepperoni pizza from Papa John's that was shaped like a jack-o-lantern.

Then after lunch we got to make monster sundaes. We got big scoops of chocolate ice cream and put sprinkles and a candy eye on it.

During the day, I dressed my brother up in the dinosaur costume I made for him from his Koala Crate kit. I cut out some stripes out of construction paper and taped them to my face. I put on my tiger ears and took pictures as the Manoa School tiger.
Later that night after dinner, my brother and I watched movies in the living room. My mom had to to work in the back room for a storytelling show. She said I probably wouldn't like it because it might be too scary. After she was done, she brought out a special ice cream cake from the freezer.

The bottom layer was chocolate cake and it was surrounded by chocolate ice cream. Not too bad of a Halloween. I still would have liked to have gone trick or treating with my family but I know that this year is different. Hopefully next year things will get back to normal.
