I'm taking a class on Outschool.com call Roblox - Intro to Game Building.

Today, I finished lesson 1. In lesson 1, I learned how to make a simple Obby. An Obby is an obstacle course.

For this first lesson, I learned how to make spawning locations, which is where your avatar starts or comes back to.
I made four levels... so far. The first level is just simple steps you have to jump on to. I learned how to change the colors of the shapes.

For level 2, the steps that you jump onto are now conveyor belts so you have to keep moving once you've jumped on them or else you'll fall off.

For level 3, the steps are trampolines so it's a little harder to jump.

On level 4, the steps are now balls.

I also learned how to make the avatar return to the previous spawning location rather than starting all over again if you fall.
I'm excited to learn more when I get lesson 2 on Tuesday.
