According to Checkiday.com, today is International Caps Lock Day. It was originally on October 22. They celebrate it on that day too. But they also celebrate it on June 28 because someone name Billy May who used to do commercials and was known to yell a lot died on June 28.

This CNN article listed things that writing in all caps could mean. Most of the time I see it as someone yelling at me. This article said it could also mean someone was threatening you, you're receiving an important message or you've received a message from the National Weather Service.
An interesting fact... Roman script didn't have lowercase letters so to us it would have looked like they yelled all the time.

According to the Checkiday article, the first computer keyboard to have a caps lock was released in 1973.
But the caps lock that we see on our keyboards today comes from an IBM Model M keyboard that came out in 1984.

Today is also Paul Bunyan day. Paul Bunyan is a character in American and Canadian folk tales. He's a giant lumberjack who travels around with his giant blue ox Babe.

There are a lot of places in Minnesota that celebrate Paul Bunyan because there's a legend that says that the lakes around Minnesota were made from his footsteps.
I found this clip of a Disney cartoon about Paul Bunyan.
