I saw that today is Internaut Day. I had no idea what that was.

According to DaysOfTheYear.com, the word internaut is a combination of the words "Internet" and "Astronaut." The word is used to describe someone who may have had a role in creating the internet or is fully able to use the internet.
According to the CERN website, even though people celebrate Internaut Day on August 23 as the birthday of the World Wide Web, it's not actually correct. They consider March 1989 as the start of the internet. That's when Tim Berners-Lee, a scientist working at CERN, submitted his proposal for the World Wide Web.
Well, a very merry unbirthday to you Mr. Internet. I don't know what I'd do without you, especially now that we're all socially distancing from everyone.
