Today's the start of Ramadan. I know nothing about Ramadan. So we looked it up on the internet. We found an article that caught my interest. It was called 12 Ramadan Crafts and Activities for Kids.
This origami star Eid necklace caught my eye. I want to make this. I learned that Eid means festival. People fast during Ramadan. There is a celebration at the end of Ramadan called Eid-ul-Fitr which means "Festival of the Breaking of the Fast."
The reason for the star is probably because of Ramadan's connection with looking at the sky. Ramadan starts and ends with a new moon.

I also liked this craft idea. It's called a Good Deeds Tree. During Ramadan people try to stop doing bad habits and do good deeds instead. For this arts and crafts project, every time you do a good deed, you write it on a leaf and put it on the tree. That way you can keep track of all of your good deeds.

I also liked the Ramadan sun catchers that were in the shape of lanterns. Lanterns are symbols of hope. The link to the templates didn't work but we were able to find a similar one on this website.

I love this post! You learned so much about Ramadan, and awesome arts and crafts to celebrate Ramadan! I love the idea of a good deeds tree to help keep track.
