May 4th is Star Wars Day because it sounds like a famous sentence in the movie. In the movie, the Jedi say May the Force Be With You. My mom usually takes us to a comic book store or a toy store on May the fourth. She collects stuff. This year she tried logging into ShopDisney.com early in the morning to try and get this Disney lightsaber key. It looked really cool! I get why she wanted it.

The website wasn't working. My mom said it was probably because a lot of people were trying to get on at the same time. We looked at this screen for a long time.

By the time she got on the site the key was sold out. She went to check eBay and people were selling it for more than $50. Some were even $150. The original price on ShopDisney.com was $12.99. Wow people, really???
We did see that they were also selling Star Wars (and other Disney) character face masks. The website site said that sales of the masks would help communities that need masks. I thought that was nice.

We later looked around online to find other things related to Star Wars Day. On StarWars.com the had a really nice video to celebrate.
It had clips from different Star Wars movies and cartoons. Some of the nice lines they said were:
- When you find people who need your help you help them.
- We have hope. Hope that things can get better.
- Stand up together because that's when we're strongest.
- We had each other. That's how we won.
On the same website we found a link that showed artwork from the visual effects artists. They drew pictures honoring people who are working during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here's one that honored teachers.

All of them were really good but here are just a couple of my favorites.

Last, we found that the Indianapolis Children's Museum had activities that you could do to celebrate Star Wars Day at home.
