We forgot to do the Backyard Birding Blitz Ms. Carr suggested. :( But we didn't go out either so I couldn't really count many birds. I did take a picture of this bird that comes every day to sit at our window. He (or she) usually comes with a friend but the friend didn't come today. I think they're doves.

We did click around the Urban Ecology Center's website. If I were in Milwaukee I would do this bird scavenger hunt. My brother and I love going to Manoa stream to look at the duckies. A lot of other birds come and try to steal the bread we throw to the duckies. The sparrow on this Milwaukee list looks just like the ones here in Manoa. My mom visited Milwaukee when my aunty used to go to school there. She said she'd like to take me to the Wisconsin state fair one day because it's so big and has so many animals, flowers, fruits and vegetables to see.

When things get back to normal, we'll try to do our own Hawaii bird scavenger hunt. We found this website that lists common birds in Honolulu. I think we could do this one pretty fast!

There was also this arts and crafts project on how to start a garden using a toilet paper roll.

My mom said maybe we can order some seeds from the University of Hawaii. I want to get these corn seeds. But corn takes 68-75 days to grow?!?!?
