We went outside again today to try and see the World War 2 planes. We saw more of them today.

We also found a video posted by the U.S. Navy that had close ups of the planes.
The website for the commemoration had "trading cards" of the planes.

I tried to figure out which planes I saw but it was really hard to tell. I think one of the planes I saw was a B-25 bomber. The card said it was famous for being used in the 1942 Doolittle Raid on Tokyo. I looked up the Doolittle Raid and found the following video.
I learned that 16 B-52s were army planes that were put on a navy aircraft carrier to make the raid on Japan. The target was to take out factories. I also learned that the Doolittle Raids were kind of a revenge for the bombing of Pearl Harbor. That kinda made me sad. Even though I'm proud of our military, especially since I have relatives who were in the military, it makes me sad that wars make us hurt each other. Revenge is like an endless cycle where no one wins.
