Not sure if chocolate is really a vegetable. In a blog I did earlier, I had a link that said that chocolate is a vegetable. We looked at it again today and we realized it was posted on April Fool's day. Doh! So we did more searching and found that there are some people who think it's a fruit and others think it's a vegetable. Even though this came from a website called www.funnies.com/chocolate.htm I'm going to stick with the chocolate being a vegetable!
The bottom of this same page had a really cool fact.
I asked my mom why we don't bake cookies. She said she doesn't cook very well. She then showed me this website that shows different ways she could probably mess up a cookie.
So we usually buy cookies. From the grocery store, I'd buy Chips Ahoy. But my favorite chocolate chip cookies come from the Cookie Corner. Whenever we pass by a Cookie Corner store the smell makes we want a cookie. And once I eat one I can't stop. (I'm a bottomless pit :-) )
Frolic Hawaii magazine had a list of their top 5 chocolate chip cookies in Hawaii and Cookie Corner was their number 1 tied with someplace called Aloha Confectionery. (I prefer the regular chocolate chip cookie instead of the double chocolate chip with walnuts that they chose.)
I'm actually still not sure what chocolate is. I'm just hoping it's a vegetable! Thanks for reading!
I love this post! I'm going to respectfully disagree and then strongly agree. I respectfully disagree that chocolate chips are vegetables... They seem more like fruits, and the "beans" seem like seeds with fruity pulp around them. Delicious seeds :) You've done more research than me, though, so maybe I should trust you! I strongly agree that Cookie Corner is fantastic. I love the salted caramel...
