According to NationalDayCalendar.com, it's National Chocolate Covered Pretzel Day.

This sounds like a yummy day. It says it was started in 2019 by a company called Fatty Sundays. Looks like they make chocolate covered pretzels. Makes sense.
The website says they don't really know how chocolate pretzels started. There's a story that a German baker teamed up with a chocolatier in the 1500s but they don't have proof of that.
I like pretzels and I like chocolate so this sounds like a wonderful combination. But I don't think I've ever eaten a real chocolate pretzel. I don't know. Does Yan Yan count?
Or Pocky?
Well, this news story calls Pocky a chocolate-covered pretzel snack, so I guess it counts. The news story is kind of interesting. There's another brand called Pepero. It's made in South Korea. In 2015, both company's wanted November 11 to be their product's day. So in Japan it would be Pocky Day while in South Korea it would be Pepero Day. (November 11 was chosen because it looks the pretzel sticks.) But both products are sold throughout Asia so there's some argument about which product should have that day. Pocky is actually the older product. It was made in 1966. Pepero was made in 1983, but the company says it didn't copy Pocky.
