I was so excited to watch the SpaceX launch today. I was really sad it was cancelled. But I understand it wasn't safe. My mom told me about the Space Shuttle Challenger. She said her friend who went to Manoa School with her was related to the astronaut Ellison Onizuka.
But it was really exciting watching everything on the TV and on the internet. I was first watching on the TV before class. I was getting really nervous for the astronauts. I don't think this is something I would want to do. I would feel so claustrophobic!
On the internet it was really funny watching all the comments fly by. So many people were typing that you couldn't read anything in the chat box. The screen shot can't really show that. We tried to type in Hello from Hawaii! But it just flew off the screen.
I'll be up early on Saturday for the next try!
Just also wanted to say today is National Cellophane Tape Day. Basically Scotch tape. Didn't do anything special for it. I use it all the time for my arts and crafts. It drives my parents nuts because they can never find any tape left in the house.
