Life just keep getting crazier. We have to worry about COVID-19. Now we have to worry about a hurricane?!?!?

The news says that right now it's a category 4 hurricane. I didn't know what that meant so I looked it up. I liked this infographic.
The news said it should get weaker as it gets closer to the islands, but it can still cause a lot of damage. Looking at the chart, it looks like even a category 1 hurricane can be dangerous so everybody needs to prepare.
I helped my dad go around the house to check what we have. We had flashlights but some of them had old batteries or my brother and I broke them. (My brother broke most them. It's true!) :( We had enough toilet paper because we had been buying enough for the pandemic. We didn't have bottles of water. We had enough food.
So my mom went out to get water, batteries and a little more food.
The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency has a nice infographic about how to prepare for emergencies. Here's the link to the full infographic.

Thanks Ms. Carr. I hope Molokai doesn't get hit too hard.
