Sesame Street's world premier was on November 10, 1969. According to NationalToday.com, it is the most widely watched kids show in the world. I watched a lot of it when I was younger. My grandpa used to buy me all of the Elmo's World DVDs.

I learned that there are different Sesame Street characters all around the world. On Muppet.Fandom.com, there a page that talked about a 2004 calendar that listed various international characters like Nimnim and Khokha in Egypt and Businka and Zeliboba in Russia.
