The Real Thor

Thor: Ragnarok is one of my favorite Marvel movies. Thor looks cool and the story is exciting. After watching the movie again today, I learned some things about Thor. The Thor in the Marvel Universe is different from the Thor in Norse mythology.

I learned that Thor in Norse mythology doesn't have long, blonde hair. He actually has red hair and a really messy beard. Thor in Norse mythology is described as being ugly. Both Thors have a hammer but the Thor in Norse mythology needs a glove and belt to use the hammer. Thor in Norse mythology also doesn't fly. He uses a chariot pulled by two goats.

I also learned that Thor and Loki aren't brothers in Norse mythology. Loki is actually Thor's step-brother.
