Nice but kinda depressing.
When I first looked at the list of artists who were going to be part of the concert, I was really excited. We watched some of the performances online and on TV. They were nice but I was hoping for something more exciting. Some of the artists played songs I knew but play kinda sad or slow versions of it.
Here are some of the performances I saw.

Lady Gaga's performance was kinda fun. She did a song called Smile that I didn't know. My mom said it's a really old song. She had a fun piano part towards the end. What surprised me about this was, I didn't know this was Lady Gaga. I had never seen her before.

I also didn't know what Billie Eilish looked like so this was also a surprise. She sang a song called Sunny. My mom says it's not as old as Smile but something I wouldn't know. She has a nice voice and I liked the piano.

Shawn Mendez and Camila Cabello sang What A Wonderful World. They sounded nice but I didn't really like it. I think it's because I'm use to hearing the version that Iz sings. I like that one more because it sounds more peaceful.

There was a singer named Billie Joe Armstrong who sang a song called Wake Me Up When September Ends. It was a nice song but it was kinda sad. They showed pictures of empty streets around the world. It reminded me of how we can't see our friends right now.

There was a singer named Kacey Musgraves who did a nice song called Rainbows. While she was singing, they showed pictures of places in the UK that are posting drawings of rainbows to help cheer people up.

I wasn't really paying attention when this song came on. I stopped what I was doing and asked my mom if I knew this song because it kinda sounded familiar but not really. She even had to look it up. We found that it was the song Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding. It sounded really different from how I hear it on the radio.

I was really excited to see that Charlie Puth was going to sing his song Attention. But again, the song sounded really different from what I hear on the radio. Was kinda sad it didn't have the same energy.
I think it's pretty cool that all these artists are sharing their music from home trying to make people feel better. We watched some other performances online of other artists performing virtually. These are a few that actually cheered me up rather than made me more sad.

This one is from a Broadway show called Beautiful. I liked this one because you could see the musicians as well as the singers.

This one by Dua Lipa was awesome! It sounded like what I hear on the radio. Plus it showed the musicians as well as dancers.

But this one is my favorite. There's a YouTube show called Some Good News and they arranged for the cast of Hamilton to perform virtually for a girl who missed seeing the performance because the coronavirus cancelled things. I really liked this one because it had so much energy and I learned something about Alexander Hamilton.
My favorite line from the song, "There's a million things I haven't done but just you wait!"
