There were 109 new COVID-19 cases in Hawaii. That's a scary big number. The news also said there were 8 cases reported at the summer schools. That's not a big number but it still makes me worried. There's a meeting tomorrow that will decide when and how school will start. Crossing my fingers everyone can work together to make school as safe as it can be.
Tired of all the bad news so looked around for something nice.

They had an art contest that asked young people to draw a picture that sends a message that "#everyonecounts" including refugees during this pandemic. A refugee is someone who has to leave their home because of violence or war. The UN Refugee Agency received 2,000 drawings from all over the world. They chose 7 images and worked with a Japanese studio to animate them. It was nice to see messages of hope and kindness. Here are screenshots of a few of them.
