What is Unity Day? According to pacer.org, it's "An event created by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, to come together in one giant ORANGE message of hope and support. WEAR AND SHARE ORANGE to color our nation, and even the world, to visibly show that our society believes no child should ever experience bullying."

The website gave a lot of statistics about bullying. Many of them were from the National Center for Educational Statistics, 2019.
One out of every five (20.2%) students report being bullied
Of those students who reported being bullied, 13% were made fun of, called names, or insulted; 13% were the subject of rumors; 5% were pushed, shoved, tripped, or spit on; and 5% were excluded from activities on purpose
Among students ages 12 – 18 who reported being bullied at school, 15% were bullied online or by text
The website had a lot of great links. There was one for a Disney Jr. Kindness Kit. It also had a list of virtual activities classes could do this year. Some of the ideas I liked:
Painting rocks with words of unity
Unity dance over Zoom
Sticky note mural of things you can do to fight bullying
