Woo hoo! Weather didn't cancel today's launch.

My mom woke me up 15 minutes before the launch. We watched it both on the computer and on TV. Watching the countdown made me nervous. I was happy when the they blasted off.

But my parents were still nervous watching the rocket go into the sky. My dad said they've seen bad things happen to astronauts twice in their lifetime. He just wanted to make sure they made it into space ok.

It was really interesting to watch even after the launch. The rocket that was used to send the capsule into space came back down and landed on a drone ship. Mind blown! Didn't know it was going to do that!

I recognized someone who was on TV talking about the launch. Leland Melvin was the astronaut to taught the online class I took.

It was really cool to see the astronauts later floating around. I thought I had seen a toy dinosaur earlier during the launch. Here they explained that they did bring a dinosaur that both their sons had chosen to send with them.

We later went to the NASA website and found a whole bunch of activities for kids.

We tried piloting the SpaceX Dragon.

It was pretty stressful. It took us a while to figure out how to control everything. After an hour of failing we finally docked at the International Space Station.
