World Art Day

For World Art Day, we did virtual tours of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the International Center of Photography. It was a little difficult to click around. Some of the displays were a little creepy. Like at The Met the sarcaphagus was a little scary.

To help me not be so creeped out, my mom showed me this funny challenge that the Getty Museum has. They have asked everyone to recreate their favorite artwork using things they have at home. Here are some that I thought were cool.

I was impressed with this Klimt recreation because I learned about him in my cub club art class.

There was one that did creep me out again though. It was a recreation of a Medusa sculpture. I'm not putting a picture of it here because it was creepy. It really was!
